Hey everybody, so I’m gonna go ahead and say the next update will be Friday, November 4th. That way if I do post a page before then, it’s a nice surprise, but if I don’t, it’s expected. I did draw a fun picture of Ramona that’s up over on Instagram, but that took significantly less time than finishing a comic page. Keep an eye out here or on my tumblr or twitter or facebook page for an update.
So, I’m gonna update on Friday instead of Monday for the next few weeks’ comics, including this week. Not sure if I’m gonna take a break during October or not due to the whole working in a costume shop thing, but I will make a post later in the month about that. In the meantime, let’s all celebrate that this horrible, humid summer weather will soon give way to a brief interlude of autumn, before it turns into the barren misery of wintertime. I for one am excited.
Another week, another update.
PSA: I made a tumblr specifically for this comic. So if you’re on tumblr and want reminders each week when I update, but don’t want to muddle through all the other posts from my main blog, this is for you! I’m still playing around with the theme, so expect that to change, but I will post previews weekly from now on.
I will be at Soda City Comic Con in Columbia, SC this weekend! Not in artist alley, but just as a regular attendee. It has been like 6 years since I’ve gone to a convention not as an artist. What magical experiences await me? What are conventions even like when you aren’t sitting in one place for most of the weekend?* I am excited to find out.
*Fun fact: Even after the convention closes each night, artists stay at their tables. It cuts down on hotel room prices. It’s like how your teachers actually lived at your school–the ones you saw in the real world were escapees and defectors. Artists found away from their tables should be lured back to their designated places with silver coins and caffeinated beverages.
This week’s comic is delayed until next week. In the meantime, enjoy this drawing of Naoko.
